Tips for completing the Quran
The widely used Madinah Mushaf layout runs 604 pages at 15 lines each — note this page count is specific to that particular standard printing/layout, not an inherent property of the Quran itself; older or regional mushaf layouts (such as some printed in the Indian subcontinent) use different line spacing and can run a different page count for the identical text. The structural facts that don't vary by layout: 114 surahs, 30 Juz (equal-length divisions used for structured reading plans), and roughly 6,236 verses — "roughly" because different scholarly traditions count a small number of verse boundaries slightly differently without disputing a single word of the text itself.
فَاقْرَءُوا مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
“So recite what is easy [for you] of the Quran.”
— Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:20
About This Calculator
This calculator estimates how many pages or verses you'd need to read per day to finish the entire Quran (604 pages in the standard Uthmani mushaf layout) within a timeframe you choose — useful for planning a Ramadan khatm, a yearly reading plan, or any custom goal.
It's a planning estimate, not a tracker — pair it with the Reading Goal page if you want to log your actual daily progress against the plan.
