نماز کا مکمل طریقہ
Complete Salah guide with Arabic, Urdu, and English
Salah (Namaz) is the second pillar of Islam and must be performed five times a day. It is a direct connection between the servant and Allah. Learn the correct method of performing each prayer below.
نماز اسلام کا دوسرا ستون ہے اور دن میں پانچ بار ادا کرنا ضروری ہے۔ یہ بندے اور اللہ کے درمیان براہ راست رابطہ ہے۔

How to perform Fajr prayer

These actions are performed in every prayer
قیام (کھڑا ہونا)
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allahu Akbar
Allah is the Greatest
اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے
Stand facing the Qibla. Raise your hands to the ears and say "Allahu Akbar". Fold your right hand over the left below the navel.
رکوع (جھکنا)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subhana Rabbiyal Adheemi wa Bihamdih
Glory be to my Lord, the Mighty, and praise be to Him
میرا رب عظمت والا ہے اور اس کی تعریف ہے
Bow down placing hands on knees, fingers spread. Keep back straight and say the above at least three times.
سجدہ (سجدہ کرنا)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subhana Rabbiyal A'la wa Bihamdih
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, and praise be to Him
میرا رب اعلیٰ ہے اور اس کی تعریف ہے
Prostrate with forehead, nose, both palms, both knees, and toes touching the ground. Say the above at least three times.
جلسہ (دو سجدوں کے درمیان بیٹھنا)
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَارْفَعْنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَعَافِنِي وَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Rabbighfir li warhamni wajburni warfa'ni warzuqni wahdini wa 'afini wa'fu anni
My Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me, strengthen me, raise me, provide for me, guide me, grant me health, and pardon me
میرا رب! مجھے معاف کر، مجھ پر رحم کر، مجھے مضبوت کر، مجھے بلند کر، مجھے رزق دے، مجھے ہدایت دے، مجھے عافیت دے اور مجھے معاف کر
Sit upright between the two prostrations and make this supplication.
تشہد
التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat. As-salamu alayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As-salamu alayna wa ala ibadillahis-salihin. Ash-hadu an la ilaha illAllahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh
All compliments, prayers, and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
تمام تعظیمات، نمازیں اور پاک باتیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔ اے نبیﷺ! آپ پر سلام ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت اور برکتیں ہوں۔ ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر سلام ہو۔ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمدﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔
Recite the Tashahhud in the last sitting position. In 3 or 4 Rakah prayers, recite it in the second Rakah as well.
درود شریف
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin kama sallayta ala Ibrahima wa ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin kama barakta ala Ibrahima wa ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
اللہ تعالیٰ! محمدﷺ اور محمدﷺ کی آل پر رحمت بھیج جیسے ابراہیم علیہ السلام اور ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی آل پر رحمت بھیجی۔ بے شک تو تعریف والا اور بزرگی والا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ! محمدﷺ اور محمدﷺ کی آل پر برکت نازل فرما جیسے ابراہیم علیہ السلام اور ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی آل پر برکت نازل فرمائی۔ بے شک تو تعریف والا اور بزرگی والا ہے۔
After the Tashahhud, send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.
سلام (نماز ختم کرنا)
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah
آپ پر سلام ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت ہو
Turn your head to the right and say the Salaam, then turn to the left and repeat. This completes the prayer.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a-inni ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibadatik
اے اللہ! مجھے تیرا ذکر، تیرا شکر اور تیری اچھی عبادت کرنے کی توفیق دے۔
